Herrington Lake Cavachons
We live in a lake community in Kentucky and specialize in breeding quality Cavachons. We focus on raising quality puppies with exceptional temperaments and health. Our Cavalier King Charles girls and our Bichon Frise’ male are all registered. They live in our home, or in the home of a family member, as a family pet. All puppies are raised by us in our living room and given lots of tender loving care from day one.
We are a small breeding program, with a small number of Cavalier King Charles girls and one Bichon Frise’ stud. All of our puppies are F1 cavachons. Because we only have a limited number of litters, we are able to provide extra attention to each and every puppy.
Those who have purchased puppies from us in the past have commented on what a unique puppy purchasing experience it was. Our goal is for the transition from our home to yours to be as pleasant as possible, for both you and your puppy. .
What is a Cavachon?
A cavachon is a designer mix of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bichon Frise’. The cross produces a well-tempered and beautiful dog that has little to no shedding qualities. They are intelligent and easy to train. Being calm and affectionate they love to snuggle, and adore children and other dogs. From owning many other breeds of dogs, we know they are the ultimate family dog. They love everyone they meet and everyone loves them. On top of that, they are absolutely beautiful. We only raise first generation cavachons.
The cavachon is not a high energy dog, therefore, they are perfect for any type of lifestyle. They have just enough spunk to be fun, but they are also happy to lay in your lap all day. You will find them to be one of the easiest puppies you will ever own.
Some of our puppies have become therapy dogs.

We are not a Puppy Mill. Our babies are part of our family. Because each puppy is handled daily from the day they are born, we know the personalities of each puppy and ensure families and puppies are well matched.
- We only purchase quality dogs for breeding.
- Daily each puppy is given individual attention.
- Puppies are raised in our home, or the home of a family member, and given ample space to play.
- Once they have received their first set of shots, routine outdoor “romp and play” time is provided on our two acres multiple times per day.
- You will be provided with updates that include photos and videos on a regular basis so you can watch your puppy grow. You will get to see it play in the grass, interacting with its litter mates, climbing stairs, etc. We want you to have the chance to get to know your puppy before it ever goes home with you.
- Your puppy will be crate trained and started on house breaking.
- Each puppy is started on basic puppy manners.
- We are available to answer any questions you may have before and after your purchase. We will be glad to assist with feeding, training tips, etc.
